"I enjoyed the whole video. Being able to see our ceremony again and re-live the moment of exchanging our vows, seeing the cocktail hour that we never got the chance to make, signing our licenses, watching the first dances, and capturing the beauty of the space. There are moments captured in our photos that we didn’t understand what we were doing, but then we watch the video and laugh because the expressions or actions are explained. I am especially happy that we took Ryan’s advice to set up a video for our guests to leave us personal well wishes. They were a lovely surprise at the end of our video allowing us to connect with some people that we didn’t get to spend that much time with that day. I don’t know how he avoided disrupting our day, but he did. :O) Of course, after meeting him at our rehearsal he was like a friend and fit right in. It was a joy to have him there. He fit in with my wedding party and worked well with our photographers. I was worried that he would get in the way of their shots but it was the opposite. He managed to capture all our important events and not end up in the photos. He captured all the important wedding moments, including candids & interviews. There was more included in the video than I knew had occurred. The day is such a whirlwind. You blink and it’s over. I didn’t remember a thing. Being able to look back at the video helped me to remember the beauty of the event and all that I did. The tone of our wedding video fit the theme of my wedding. The intro was retro and theatrical capturing the uniqueness and beauty of the site and the event. The music custom selected from our wedding. I would recommend Ryan without hesitation. I am a very picky person and a perfectionist, and I was the bride, bad combo. I was very happy with the video, and when I did want things changed or music taken out, Ryan was more than willing to do it and he responded back almost instantly I felt. "I had worked on a number of DVD transfer projects with Ryan before hiring him to be the videographer at my daughter’s wedding. In all honesty, having the wedding videotaped was not a high priority for me or my family, but Ryan shared his belief with me that videography captures the living experience of a wedding in a complimentary, but completely different way from photography. I already knew that Ryan was a skilled professional who has a gift for working well with people. I trusted Ryan’s judgment on this wedding videography issue, and his price was so reasonable that I couldn’t say no. My 90 year old father was unable to attend the wedding, and I was happy that a wedding DVD would be available to share with him and other absent relatives at a later date. What I could not possibly have know when I hired Ryan is that my husband and I would miss three very important wedding moments due to a logistical error on the part of the wedding planner. We never saw the wedding cake before it was cut up, we missed the words of gratitude our daughter and her new husband spoke to their parents and guests, and we missed the bride and groom’s first dance. This was heartbreaking. May this never happen to anyone else!!! Our dismay and grief at not seeing these events in person have softened and been transformed by Ryan’s beautiful wedding videography which is breathtakingly life like. "Ryan was AWESOME to work with!! We met Ryan at our best friend's wedding a few months before we were engaged and got his card to hold on to. We connected with him immediately at their wedding and were excited by his infectiously fun and outgoing personality! Ryan attended our rehearsal to scope the space and meet everyone. On the big day - he showed up a few hours before to get video of the prepping...and stayed through our grand exit as the getaway car pulled away. Ryan always has a smile on his face and an incredibly positive attitude. The turn around was very fast - we received our review DVD within a few days of returning from our honeymoon. I had no idea what to expect as I've never seen anyone's Wedding video before - but it was about 2 hours of wonderfulness!! It even included a nice section of my husband rapping into the camera and me joining half way through as a backup dance. Ryan did some special editing to that section and it ended up being like our own little music video!! Another nice thing he included was putting us in a room privately to tell our story to the camera - it was a very nice addition to the video. "We booked Ryan to capture raw footage in HD of our big day through his online booking. He was the most affordable videographer I could find and was recommended by a coworker. However, my experience was the complete opposite of that review. Ryan was very prompt and professional in all his communication. His booking and prep sheet were easy to complete. We didn’t meet in person until the rehearsal; which made me a little nervous. However, once we met Ryan we knew we were in good hands. He is so genuine, friendly and wears his heart on his sleeve it seems. He was a surprise standout vendor for sure. He captured all of the moments we wanted, got well wishes on camera from some of our shyest guests, and all around was a pleasure to work with. He had our raw footage transferred, cataloged, and ready for us to pickup the Monday after the wedding! Very speedy. We couldn’t afford to have him edit something together for us just yet. However, we enjoyed working with him so much that we will probably have him do some editing of the footage in the future. Highly recommended!"

"My wife (I love saying that!) and I hired Ryan to capture our wedding day, and we couldn't be happier. He blew us away with his attention to detail on all of the shots he got for us. For instance, he found a time to get a stellar panoramic of the pre-ceremony decor + all of the cool little random stuff that we set up for our crazy night. Also, he got all of my shy friends to give FANTASTIC testimonials on camera (mind = blown). I guess the best compliment I can give is by saying he went well out of his way to get everything right for Gina and I. By this, I mean he worked with the DOC, Photog, DJ, (and maybe a little The Bride) to hash things out and make the fun recordable. Props to you Sir. We absolutely enjoyed your services. P.S. We didn't get editing services with Ryan (we might eventually...he holds your files for awhile.) but he was nice enough to show us some of our videos in his studio and go over what we might need to do for transitions and sound... Our wedding video was ready to review when we returned from our honeymoon and the final copy was to us just days after I approved it. "My husband and I decided that we wanted a videographer as one of the very last things before the wedding (about 2 months before). Ryan was an excellent choice for our budget. I decided that I wanted to edit the wedding video myself, so hired him just to film the ceremony and reception. The cost was well below that of comparable services. Leading up to the wedding, he was the most responsive vendor we had. When the big day arrived, Ryan skillfully managed to capture every little detail without being a distraction to the party. The only complaint we would have was that sometimes he would get in the way of the photographer, but I feel this may have been our fault for not telling him that the photographer had priority (and some brides feel the opposite). He was able to transfer the footage onto the hard drive that we gave to him right away - I believe a few days after, but we were on honeymoon so the quick turn-around didn't matter to us. When we finally got around to watching it, I was blown away by the footage! I expected high quality video from his equipment, and for the filming style to be good, but I had no idea that at the price point we paid we would get brilliantly artistic shots, angles, and panning that rival competition at much higher prices (and trust me, I had wanted so badly to splurge a couple grand to get a highly professional team of videographers). I was amazed that he was able to capture every little detail of our wedding that even our photographer had omitted (brides: think favors, decoration, etc). It made me very pleased that even though we weren't paying him to edit the video, he did not disappoint with his artistic filming ways, giving me more than enough to work with in creating my own video. I highly recommend Ryan - he really exceeded our expectations and I guarantee you none of my friends would know the difference between his filming style and that of the videographers who charge the big bucks."

"Everything is outstanding. More than we expected. It is really talented work. I am quite a hard critic, so I searched all reviews on the web and I picked Ryan. Even at the ceremony, there were two videographers to take different angles of video. Ryan captured every important moment. Nothing missed, and every important parts were well captured! The ring bearer's mother was absent from the wedding due to her second pregnancy. She was SO happy to see first son's great job as a ring bearer without her. We are so pleased with all of Ryan's work! The wedding video's tone was just beautiful! We had our wedding at the aquarium, and even fish turn out more beautiful on video than in real life. "We really enjoyed the reception. The dancing was the best. Since we were so caught up in the moment we did not even notice our surroundings. Those added elements to the video were a great touch. Our slide show was also incorporated into the video. Most of the time we did not even notice him. He captured so many events of the evening with our guests which made for a great surprise on the video. He was always very polite and patient with us when wanting to capture footage. Ryan was very professional and easy to get along with. He worked extremely well with our other vendors. We filled out a prep sheet before hand which was very helpful. From start to finish, Ryan went above and beyond. On the day after our wedding, we chose to fly off the island where our wedding was on a little sea plane. "I had a connection with a friend of a friend for a videographer, but I went online to research what normal prices were, and what what was included for the given price. I'm glad I did. Low and behold I found Seattle Wedding Videography while browsing randomly online. I put in my information on the easy to use website, including what I wanted (ex. 1-3 songs, only 1 photographer), and was given back an estimate almost immediately. The estimate was EXACTLY what I paid for the finished product, and cheaper than my friend of a friend with more accessories! Ryan even came to my rehearsal (but not to our rehearsal dinner :) ) to scope out the ceremony location so he could get a feel for how things would work on the wedding day. I certainly didn't ask him to do this. This is how they are: very proactive, quick and attentive, you won't be waiting endless hours to find an answer to your question. The actual wedding day he was very attentive as well and got plenty of good shots, angles, and of course all the important parts (toast, bouquet toss, garter toss, first dances). "Our wedding was planned in less than 3 months- and we were hurriedly looking for a videographer to capture our big day. We luckily stumbled upon Ryan who took the time out to meticulously reply back to our emails in a timely and efficient manner. We were also fortunate enough to correspond not only via email but also over text and phone. Although the time was ticking upon us for the arrival of our wedding- we didn't feel any concern or anxiety with our videographer- he displayed his professionalism and punctuality throughout our correspondence with him. When we requested a sample of his DVD and our schedules conflicted he offered to just express mail the sample and called us for confirmation of delivery. His website is very straightforward- questions that were brought up through the general survey is pretty standard- providing that you know how long you want footage to be covered, how important music is throughout your DVD, and all the important details that needed to be addressed such as microphone usage, start/end time, etc. The day before the wedding; he arrived at our rehearsal to go over some basics- he pretty much wanted to ensure that he had coverage from every angle at the Church- and whether or not his microphone would be able to function at the venue. All these details were important to Randy *now husband and I because we wanted to make sure that every word was captured in the DVD- (the DVD is going to be sent to his mother overseas). Simply put- his standard operating procedures were on point and he seemed just as excited and happy as we were. On the day of the wedding- he arrived earlier than expected and checked in with our wedding planner- and everywhere we were, he was there with his camera and gear. He never missed a single precious moment and although our wedding ceremony and reception lasted until the wee hours of the night- he still remained calm, professional, and humorous.
